Why We Started
As I have come to better understand life, I have felt a growing desire to give back to my friends, neighbors, and community. The past few years have opened my eyes to how much need exists all around us, often in places we may never notice.
When my husband’s father was in rehabilitation, what he wanted most was simple but deeply meaningful: someone to listen, someone to talk with, and someone to help him through the day.
At 97, he had outlived his wife, his parents, and his siblings. He still had his children, and we all worked together to support him. But many of the other patients did not have that same support.
They needed the same things he did: companionship, encouragement, kindness, and care. Too often, those needs went unmet.
The Need Around Us
Our church has a food distribution program, but I did not fully understand how widespread food insecurity was until I began hearing the stories of people in our own community.
A neighbor once shared that her granddaughter had a classmate who looked forward to birthday parties because there would always be food there.
Stories like that stayed with me. They reminded me that people all around us are carrying needs, worries, and loneliness that we may know nothing about.
I began to feel that I had to help in whatever way I could.
How Simply Cyndy Co. Helps
Simply Cyndy Co. is one way I can begin.
I cannot feed the whole world, and I cannot sit beside every person who needs someone to listen. But I can share the love and message of Christ. I can offer words of comfort, encouragement, faith, and hope.
Through thoughtfully created gifts, scripture products, and encouraging messages, my hope is to strengthen believers, comfort those who are struggling, and inspire others to live with the love, compassion, and grace Jesus has shown us.
A Place to Begin
Simply Cyndy Co. is only a beginning.
My hope is that each product, message, and act of encouragement will remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved.
I hope you will join me in sharing faith, kindness, and encouragement with the people around us.
